Join us for a Celebration of French composer Camille St. Saëns.
Conducted by Dr. Gregory Grabowski, the Symphony Orchestra’s centerpiece in the program will be Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor featuring Dr. Evgeni Rachev, cello. Take in St. Saëns’s beloved musical menagerie, The Carnival of the Animals, with narrator Patrick Hill. Showcasing the incredible members of our orchestra, St Saëns was one of the most inventive of all composers – and his orchestrations highlight each section of the Longview Symphony.
