Longview Symphony’s celebration of Black History Month will include local singers and artists – as well as partnering with internationally acclaimed dancers from the Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Our program will highlight music by African American composers including William Grant Still, James P Johnson and contemporary composer Rosephanye Powell. The Wiley College Choir will also be performing along with the Peterson Brothers. Come and celebrate Longview’s diversity through a celebration of music and art in March.
