Guild

The Longview Symphony Guild, called the Forté, was formed to promote and increase the musical knowledge of the public by promoting performances of music in programs chosen primarily from the literature of symphonic music, chamber music, opera, solo recitals, vocal chorus, or dance. The Forté contributes to the Longview Symphony League through educational outreach to local schools to promote the love of live music; and through several fundraising projecst throughout the year. In addition to these things, we also help promote upcoming concerts and let people know how they, too, can be a part of this amazing community.

We are a dynamic group of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds with a common love of music and the desire to be part of the fine arts community of East Texas. Men and women are encouraged to join this organization, where we all share our talents and love of the fine arts.

Each member of the Forté brings valuable experience to the Longview Symphony Orchestra. We would love to have you join us because there is always room for more members. If you or a friend of yours is interested in joining, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Membership cost is $30 individually or $50/family, and $20 per student.
